Dear Friends:
While I was in Albany for a meeting the weekend of October 14 I knew that my friend, Pat, had had surgery the previous Thursday. I waited until Saturday or Sunday and happily went to St.Peter's to visit her. I did not stay long because she was in so much discomfort. We chatted, always with good humor, about favorite memories and friends. She was so concerned about Frank and Millie.
I just read Leo's notice about the list serve change and caught Fr. John's October 19 posting about Pat's death. I cannot imagine a more dedicated and joyful saint pulling and pushing for SJSA. Watch our for a miracle or two!
Like so many others, I will miss her and am only the richer for knowing her. News of her death, despite my JOY for her, saddens me.
Blessings to all. My prayers are with you.

Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord and keep pushing and pulling for those of us you've left behind. Peace and thanks for so generously sharing your journey with all of us, jdk, the p.p.
